Need a Spot

Starting to look for a T100 to buy, read about the drag link, clutch bracket, and cracked axle issues. How do I recognize the cracked axle? Is it only on the driver's rear side, exactlty where does it occur on the housing? does lube leak out to tip off the damage? Is there a particular post or thread I should read for the cracked axle issue? Thanks
