I am not a fan of Optima either. I know Optima is one of the best batteries. However I find it difficult to justify the double extra amount of money more than that of if I spend on regular one. My pick is the Costco "Kirkland" battery with 100 month warranty ($55). I think it would last as long as my stock Panasonic one. Another 8 years?
