Getting the Wheeling Fever
The order from 1st Toyota parts.com showed up yesterday (front pads, rear shoes, rear wheel cylinders, fuel filter) and I threw the OME springs/shocks and powerslot rotors in the back and dropped it off to my (hopefully trustworthy) garage this AM. They say that they can do it all in one day but I'll be surprised if they pull it off. I measured 15" to the running boards last night and we'll see what I gain afterwards.

Rotors are the wrong size <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> On Tire Rack web page I picked "4runner SR5 4WD" and it showed only rotors for 15" wheels and I made a mistake. While talking with them just now I accidentally picked "4runner Limited" on their web page and the rotors for the 16" wheels showed up. I don't have "limited edition" but "sport edition". Had I seen both 15" and 16" rotors on the same page I probably wouldn't have made the mistake. Tire Rack will fedex from DE to the garage and I'll be driving tomorrow night.

There go my savings from 1st toyota parts.com....

No more internet shopping after scotch!

Getting the Wheeling Fever
After $1000 in parts and another $1000 in labor its all back together.

It sits about 1.5" higher than it did before. There is a stretch of road with bad washboard bumps near my home - before I would hit these at like 45 and the truck would literally start moving sideways while bouncing up and down. Now it takes these in stride - the ride is still firm but it seems like "the tires get back on the ground faster."

The powerslot rotors feel great and the stopping distances are much shorter and with less brake pressure.

I'm done for now but will looking for some other mods in the Spring!

Hey! I have the same problem and it can become a dangerous situation on mountain road where a tractor has been. There can be a straight road and my truck will start to drift sideways without even turning the wheel. It didn't do this when I bought it. I think perhaps the shocks are worn.
