Also check for air/vacuum leaks between the air filter and throttle body and also any loose vacuum lines or bolts. I had a rough idle on my '85 when I put if back together. Turns out one of the EGR flange bolts was loose and backed out, leaving a big air lead at the back side of the intake plenum. I could not figure out what was wrong, but one evening a buddy dropped by and he pointed out the missing bolt in a minute.
