Lets be very clear. This thread is not about bashing somebodies beliefs. I was only discussing the etiquette or lack there of with keeping record of other folks' personal information, mood, and skin color.

Yes there is room for many cultures is what Les was probably saying not necassarily room for tens of billions of people.

And when I said "scientific explanation" I meant through further research not following Tom Cruise into the realm of L. Ron Hubbard. Might as well satrt worshipping Isaac Asimov.

There are few Mormons that believe in Evolution, i do, however its easy to get offtrack religiously when it comes to evolution of man, animals i have no problem with, but man is difficult to swallow, monkeys are great, and if i evolved from them great, although i dont believe Jesus Christ evolved from Monkeys since he was the Son of God...dont know what the standard protestant doctrine is on this subject, but Latter-Day Saints generally dont believe since it states we were created in the likeness of God...

"Room for everyone in U.S." i didnt study history (biology) but im pretty sure thats why were here...

When I was a kid I was into some of the sci-fi stuff. Ray Bradburys The Martian Chronicles was a good series. I was really too young to be reading Isaacs stuff because I remember it scaring the crap out of me.

i was thinking more on the billions range

Yup, 4.5 billion. The sun should burn for another 4.5 billion, after which it will get a bit cold and dark here! I wonder what/who will be living here then

You thinking of Author C Clark? I loved Isaac Asimov's books. He was a genius. The first one I read was 'The Naked Sun'. Awesome story. What about 'Foundations Edge" and the different levels of mind control the different groups had over each other. It made me wonder if I do things because I decide to or whether someone or thing decides for me and someone else decides that for them and so on. Of course I don't believe it, just entertainment for my brain Who was the main character? Geez this was years and years ago. Wasn't it something like Galan Travese? The guy who went off to search for the supposedly mythical planet Earth! Asimov thought so far ahead and talked about legendary people born in the year 15,000+!

Anyway on topic, I can understand why they would want take notes about mood (i.e. how accepting were they), but I also think it's a bit creepy. May be I could get them to take notes about this guy and they might realise that life is no rehearsal (NO disrespect to ANY religion intended) and their time may not be best served doing what they're doing.
