I was a Mormon Missionary when i was 19-21...we dont keep records like that, ive found the J-Dubs a little invasive in their tactics though...

As far as tithing goes yes we pay 10%, our finances and taxes are private, its our responsibility to be honest not our leaders...

"I think Mormans and JW's are in error because they believe that only their particular groups can go to heaven."

JW's believe this not Latter-Day Saints, if you know somebody that is Mormon and they disagree with my statement kick them in the face for me...

I have Jehovas witness' come by my house sometimes and even some Mormons come around doing thier mission work. I have never been the type to be rude to folks that are just trying to spread peace through the word of thier god but yesterday I found something that quite frankly I feel is wrong. In my driveway was a page out of one of the guys record book. Notes taken on whhere they live, if they have kids, thier skin color and even thier mood. Is this something missionaries are supposed to do? Whatever the reason I think it is rude and my wife is a little upset about it as well. Only the government is supposed to spy on us.

Anyway, What do you guys think? I'm sure its innocent enough but I still think its rude and down right weird.

Not my address but I'm sure they have mine. It probably states I am in a hurry too.

Yes, and when they come around I tell them I dont have time for Their BS as they come around when Im working on my Trooper in the Gargage. Then ask If they can help me and then THEY Start asking the Questions. I get Fed up and Im as Rude as Possible to them for not leaving. I DO NOT talk while I work. Its a Habit I know, but it gets the work done faster. I have a Sign On the Front door that says the Following: ABSOLUTLEY NO SOLICITING: RELIGIOUS OR DOOR TO DOOR SALES: I think that they cant read or are to Stubborn to bother reading it. If I answere the door its get shut then and there.

BTW: My Wife is Mormon and dont care otherwise what it all is. DONT come to me and preach it, It doesnt fly with me. DONT come to my Home and try and do it too, it only Pisses me off. I dont come to your home and preach it, DONT COME TO MINE. They know this and still come around. After seeing your paper that you found that didnt make me happy either. Tactic's that will get someone in trouble. I dont like it at all. As long as they stay away from me, I could care less what they do.

Robbie-- I think its all braggin rights and they have to meet a Quota by the end of the month. lol. I really dont care just keep it away from me.

A buddy of mine turns a rigged sprinkler on when they show up at his door. The funny thing is new ones keep comming back, you would think they would blacklist his house. Maybe they think they can save him.

A professor of mine liked to see how far they would go to honor their beliefs. He would let them read him a passage, and then he would read them one, usually one about how one is supposed to help out their neighbor. After reading the passage and ask them if they agreed, he would then ask them for help, and see if they would give him what he asked for. He had a box full of shoes, watches, wallets, purses, 2 suits, cheap jewelry, a dress, and a couple of bicycles. Sometime he would ask them to help out with mowing the lawn, some would but most refused. The most indignent reaction he recieved was the day some showed up in a newer Mercedes, he asked them for it, they of course refused. I guess some Christians help thy neighbor creed only goes so far.

My folks don't answer the door, even if the they can see my folks through the windows, they just act like they don't here the door bell.

I myself prefer to debate the topic of religion with them. I enjoy toying with their belief system, it is funny how upset they can become when they can't come up with answers to my questions based on biblical passeges and stories.

I thought Mormons were supposed to be non-violent, or is violence O.K. as long as they aren't the ones doing the face kicking:o

UH.................I think that he was only kidding!

Seriously though, I usually invite them in for a discussion if I have any time. And offer a beverage and prolly a sandwich with soup.

Then they leave and we are back to where we started (less a couple of sandwiches)

In my old neighborhood we used the
"Jehovah's witness protection program"

The minute you spotted one, there was a network to call, and eventually everyone had their blinds shut, and was locked up inside.

I love to see the JWs makes me feel kind of like a hypocrite though when i try and stir them up, alot of people use to try to do that to us, then they're like, "wait your not Jehovah's Witness?"...my response..."Uh no...do you see a brief case, am i carrying small children to swoon you into coming in?"..."well then come on in for some milk and cookies..."

I do the same thing. I love getting them started on the age of our Earth. It just fries thier brains that I believe the Earth is older then ten thousand years.

Like I've said before I dont really care that they go door to door talking about thier god. At least they are not out stealing and killing or scamming folks out of thier money....oh wait, nevermind.
