It would be the cost of the transponder key plus a half hour of labor. So, call around dealers and ask how much for the transponder, and that should tell you if your getting ripped off or not. But I don't think you are....transponder keys are expensive. Programming just takes a few minutes with the code reader device they have...basically they hook up the reader, set it to program the key, turn the key like 6 times before a certain time, and its programmed.
