Now you've got me worried..... The splines on the tranny mesh with the clutch disc, not the engine. *IF* there is a difference, the worst case is you might need to figure out if the 4wd clutch disc will work with the 2wd flywheel/pressure plate, or if the 4wd flywheel will bolt to the 2wd crankshaft.

It's almost certainly do-able, afraid I have no info on what hoops you may need to jump through...
