Need a Spot
Hey guys i have a 2000 Cherokee classic that have ordere a rough country lift for. I was just wandering if you guys had any suggestions on what accessories i should put under there to go along with the lift and if anyone has heard of any problems Rough Country might have had in the past.

Thanks
Jon

Know nothing first hand; what I've heard is that it'll be rough on your <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />.

You might want to consider a slip yoke eliminator and a double cardan driveshaft, if you experience driveline vibration after the lift. (I did after a 4.5 in lift of my 99 xj).

Here's a handy link about driveline issues:

I agree with xjon about the SYE. You might also consider a drop pitman arm, if not included with the kit. As for rough country, I used to have a 4 inch rough country lift on my YJ, and overall, it seemed to be a good lift, other than it wasn't really 4 inches, it was more like 2.5 or 3. My cousin has one on his YJ as well, and it seems to be the same way. Hopefully they make better XJ lifts, and i HAVE heard good things about them. especially for the price.
