OK bud, the filter you use is the same as the 3vz and 5vz.
Next time your at the oil filters, look for one that fits a ford taurus 3 liter, the number should be PH360X (i forget the exact number)
It's has the same threads and everthing, just is about 1.5 inches longer. I use this on my engines with no problems at all. I just put alittle more oil down the crankcase cause of the larger filter.
