I have run across the NAPA GOLD FILTER #1773, it is a larger filter by quite a bit.
I use this one just to get a little more oil capacity you still dont get more miles out of it just because you got more, I can get 5 qts. in now with this filter.
I done this because i was travling the interstates and one thing i did notice, only because i had a mechanical oil pressure gauge hooked up, when ever i made some hard turn that my oil pressure would actually drop, hence the oil moved away from the pick-up tube momentarly, I would think that something like that would do more harm than the intial start up in the morning seeing how my truck takes several revolutions to hit anyway, building pressure then.
