Does anyone know what (or if?) there is a lift pump on either a D50 or Ford Ranger for the diesel? If so, what pressure does it run at, and where is it mounted? I've looked and asked at parts sites and stores and cannot find even a mention of a pump, let alone a part #. So far everything seems to point to it being part of the injection pump, like a big Cummins or John Deere. My '89 D50 was a gasser and the diesel engine came from a wrecker out of an '86 Ranger.
