I have an Alpine 6 CD changer under the passenger seat; 1996 vintage but works great. I use an FM ipod patch now but reception sucks around major metro areas. Can also use a cassette adaptor but they hiss like crazy.

Probably will change out stock to a more modern unit with the MP3 input on front.
