>>>*Jimmy Carter....
*He taught me a valuable lesson, do NOT trust government, they are not only self serving, they seem to all have their heads in their a**es.
To this day, I check every day to see what they are trying to do, and if they appear to be going to be successful, I can then plan ahead to duck....
He even won a "peace prize" I think this is for growing old because I sure can't find another reason.
Yep! Jimmy Carter, my very best life instructor. He taught me one true fact. I don't matter, thus survival means I take care of myself...........*EB

I had a conversation with someone Friday, and he said about the same thing. He also switched to Republican forever....After having voted for Carter
1996 SR From the Area 51 Skunk Works. 37"BFG Tires, 5" lift, Rock Track 4:1 Case, Tom Woods Drive Shafts, Oasis Air, Front ARB, lifted gas tank, T-max winch and lots of stuff that cost too much.

George Washington
1. He was intelligent and well spoken. 2. He was a good military leader who could inspire his troops.
Sorry, he SUCKED!!!! as a general. 3. He turned down a kingship and really didn't even want to be President but he did it for the new country he helped to create. 4. He gladly handed over the Presidency after his second term.
But the rest I agree with fully, and feel he is one of the best presidents we ever had. As for my favorite. Jimmy Carter. Not for what he did in office, but for what he has done after for world peace. He deserved that Nobel Peace Prize and should have received it many years earlier. PS, do you know how Regan lowered inflation? He removed housing and some durable goods from the inflation index. Since then other stuff has been removed, like health insurance.

Been stewing on this a couple days..... As for my favorite. Jimmy Carter. Not for what he did in office, but for what he has done after for world peace. He deserved that Nobel Peace Prize and should have received it many years earlier. You got to be kidding That tree-huggin' peanut farmer don't know jack about how to bring about world peace. In a utopian society, his ideas might work. But in our power thirsty world, you bring about world peace by being stronger, more intimidating, and more deft than the rest. PS, do you know how Regan lowered inflation? He removed housing and some durable goods from the inflation index. Since then other stuff has been removed, like health insurance. And, I am soooo not going to rebutt that one, for fear that it may somehow validate your thought process.
Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...
