I think this step is incorrect.

(There was and FSB or something that outlines why the "Dealer Scam Tool" couldnt be used for tune-ups...because it grounded #10 pin.)


Huh. That's interesting! I wonder what grounding the #10 pin does? I would conjecture that doing this prevents the ECU from trying to step the ISC while you are adjusting the base idle? I grounded the pin when I set my base idle speed a while ago (before finally replacing the ISC). It didn't seem to cause any problems...

Do you or anyone else have a copy of that FSB (TSB?)? I'd be interested in reading it...
