With the 2.6 rebuilt now & the balance shafts eliminated,& an E-kit installed in its place. I know from installing two of these kits before there was some vibration mostly at idle & seemed not to bad at higher speeds.I find it at higher speeds & all through the gears.

Welcome to my world. My truck turned into a buzz-box the day I put the rebuilt 2.6l in. The cab resonates just off idle, at higher RPM's the shift knob starts singing, and the engine is loud overall.

I'm not happy with the BSE. It seems like a cheap way out when doing a rebuild, and if I do this job again I will get an engine with the balance shaft installed as the Mitsubishi God's intended. My original motor, when running with a correctly tuned mikuni, idled smooth enough that it was hard to tell it was even running. I almost wish I had just done a top overhaul on it and kept it rather than subbing out for this buzzy thing I have under the hood now.
