Getting the Wheeling Fever
|
I ordered the 4 O2 sensors for my '97 Passport 3.2 ... I replaced all but the passenger side, front (closest to engine) sensor. I can remove it from the exhaust just fine, but the wire connector is tucked up above the transmission. And there isn't enough slack to pull it down to where I can even get a finger on it!
Any tricks?
It looks like if I remove the torsion bar and possibly the exhaust I could get at it ... but that seems a bit much.
I've been through the starter swap where you have to remove a good bit of the exhaust and then do a juggling operation, so removing large amounts of stuff to get at this wouldn't surprise me. But, I'm still hoping someone may have a trick? Part of me would rather just cut an access panel through the floor of my truck. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
