I would buy a full mechanics cheapy set for the truck, keep your "good" tools at home. Then throw in a few extras

big adjustable wrench

utility knife with extra blades
set screw drivers
wobble extentsion
punch
chisel
magnetic tool pick up
small pry bar


Duct tape
electrical tape
coat hanger wire
electrical wire
