Funny you should say that. My father had a real pile of crud ford laser years ago. Blew a head gasket about 200kms away from any form of civilization. He yanked the head, ditched the blown head gasket and smeared a 1/2" thick bead of liquid nails around the cylinders/journals. Got him home and lasted a few months before he had to ditch the whole engine. Nothing would remove that head afterwards. We tried turning the motor over with the headbolts removed, smashing the side of the head with a sledge hammer and even lifted the weight of the car with an engine crane attached to the head... lol
