i've got a 2wd 99 sport that i want to do sas on.
anyone know if a divorced setup would work? i've peeked underneath and seems like it should. any reason to not use one?

Sounds like it will work fine as long as you put a good crossmember under it. We need pics of this proposed plan.

Might consider an NP231 instead of a divorced set-up. Not sure, though, what the output of a 2WD tranny looks like and whether it can be adapted. Also, for some info on an SAS for the Sport (or other Montys), check out 4X4 Extreme Sports.
