Nice looking rig, Scottie. Good job with the new lights, too. Do you still have the old ones? I mounted mine on my factory grill guard on my '95 and have room for another set in the stock location.

Gen II is sounding better and better. My Gen I is down again and I'm back in a borrowed F150.

Just updating my old post. Got around to FINALLY repairing the hitch mounting plate. The PO must have backed into something with the receiver mounted and bent the hell out of the plate that is attached to the frame. Fixed it up and I'm happy now! Let me know what you think. Ouch, that WAS one bent hitch plate!!! Looks great now. I'm glad all I had to do to my stock loop ring was remove it and repaint it. I TOO added better bolts while I was at it. Seemed like the thing to do at the time..... When Bretwalda saw my truck a few years ago, he was suprised at how good the rear ring/loop looked on the rear bumper. I add wax or oil to it once or twice a gear to keep the rust at bay from all the salt they use on the roads.

Body Damage is Cool

You know for the longest time, I thought the rear hitch came with only 3 nuts. Everyone around here I have seen the passenger side bottom nut has always been missing. Cleaning up and replacing those nuts is on my list of things to do. luckily I do not have to rebuild it like you had to. Looks really good.

Every one of my Raiders/Monteros have had one of the hitch point nuts stripped or missing. My '95's is the driver's top one.
