More specifically will my tcase from my L tranny bolt up to the W tranny??


The top shift case from an L series 4WD trans will bolt-up to a W56 series 4WD trans that uses a top shift case (W56-A&B IIRC). The later W56-C&D trans use a forward shift case.

However, you would have to replace the shift rods in the case from the L series trans with the shorter shift rods from a case that mates with a W56 series trans.
