Getting the Wheeling Fever

Sorry, I have the V6. Ya I've got a heater under the driver seat that heats the back of the trooper. In the instructions it says to detach the heater hose from the "back of the block", cut it, and install the insert to lengthen it. I'm just not sure how to get to it if it's on the back of the block.
