Well it's 3" higher now. Pictures to come after I get some body work finished this week. Just jacked it up and kept an eye on things that might bind or pinch. Nothing, the clutch hydraulic line went pretty tight but I just bent it down and it's all good. Read through the instructions about 10 times to make sure I didn't forget to un hook anything, some how managed to forget about the fuel line from the tank to the filler... when I pulled the panel off to look at it it was fine. No added length required. Looks pretty sick with the 35" BFG mud terrain's on. Tomorrow I'll be grinding some body rust out and drawing all over the front quarter panels to see how I'm going to trim them. I only have about 80% steering before the wheels hit panel. Hey watch for those 4 rear mounts, under the cargo area. Thanks, got them all. It was funny, some of the bolts/nuts came out so much easier than others. The one on the driver side right in front of the rear wheel well would just crack. I put a 17" bar on it and would crank, it would start to move then CRACK and move 1/4 a turn, repeat and continue until it came out. I've never seen anything like that. Then when putting the new bolt in (this was one the threaded into the body) it was the same, push push push CRACK and the bolt turned 1/4 a turn. It actually wouldn't thread, I would push and turn my brains out but it just wouldn't go in, finally I took a jack and put it under a ratchet. I jacked it up REALLY tight and made a couple turns, finally it started to catch. I wish I could have seen what was going on up there, I sprayed the heck out of it with lube too but it just didn't help. Thanks for all the tips and help. Hope I took enough pictures to put together some sort of write up. Can't wait to order my suspension lift.

Good to hear it went well, LockTite The bolts??? I hope so since the Nuts they sent Do not have a "lock" feature to them. My Slave didnt need anything done to it. How about the Drive Line Brackets they send with the kit? That Drop the Slip Yoke down off the body? Those Look Flimsey but I have been running them with no Issue's, yet. Other than everything else, Mine went about 14 hours or so. none stop, lol. I was beat. But they are in my Opinion a cheap way to fit larger tires with out added stress and angles on the Suspension from that kind of lift. I still intend to put a 3 inch from Indy4X. Glad to hear it all went well.

A lot of things in the kit look flimsy. What would you think about doubling up the bumper raise brackets in the front, do you know what I mean? You think that would add enough strength to stand on it at least? I don't want to raise the rear bumper because I have a full size spare that would hit the bumper when the door tries to shut. Also thinking about taking the rear door spare tire hanger off and filling the holes, just keep the spare in the back or on the roof rack. I like the way the back door looks clean. Anyone done this?

I left the Bumpers where they were at. I looks Better I think. But I got the Tow package with the Trooper, yeah what Towing Power the 2.6L has.... We are looking to makeing new front and rear bumpers for the Trooper. we had some started a while back, and never got to finish that, ended up getting stolen from the shop we were using. I am going to go get another Bumper off my Parts Trooper that is a Solid strait looking one with out the hitch/ball set up. I would just use those ones from the kit as templetes and make some BEEFY ones that will hold weight and be structurally sound and solid. I think I may do that Tomorrow and get my Throttle Sensor replaced to. The Butt end of my Trooper is Naked and has been for a while now. Ill leave it where it sits stock. We'll see how it looks. The other reason I left the Bumper where it sits is because of the skid plate and that area REALLY looked goofy with out the Bumper being there, where it would match the body it looks stupid. I got a lot of things to try and do tomorrow with the Trooper, This thread Lit a Fire to get things done, lol, THANKS.

Good, get out and do it. I'll be adjusting the torsion bars tonight. It's pouring rain and super cold here right now, might snow in Vancouver today...

Some before and after shots. I'm pretty happy with it. It's tough to see in the after shot but I took off all the chrome and repainted the bottom of the truck with herculiner like stuff, also cut out and repaired all the rust on the rear of the rocker pannels. What do you all think? Going to order shackles from indy after christmas, push the back end up a little more. Before: After ![[Linked Image]](http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m235/chrisjholland/IMG_0799.jpg) Also painted the bumpers, front grill, top front inch of the hood (rock chips).

I see you left the Bumpers were they were stock. It looks bigger in the front when you do that, thats why I like it. Plus you dont have to worry about the Cheesy Bumper Brackets PA sends you with the kit. Looks BIG. Much better than stock form lol.
Robbie-- I love it, looks great.

Yeah I left them where they were. Something about not being able to support ANY weight that I didn't like. Plus I'm planning on putting some smitty built style bumpers on it at some point, so for now they'll do the job. Thanks, it was a fun, easy, and quick little weekend project.

GREAT RIDE! I'm not sure which post I saw your lift, but its a great looking ride. It makes me miss my '91. I sold it to someone taking it to Hawaii. Have fun when you're done.
Love my '91 and '02 Troopers, yet still old and in the way. Stock can be fun too!
