Hey hi fellow four banger diesel fans

I have run 100% homemade biodiesel since Spring in my Trooper with 225k mikes. Lately I have notices a lack of power.
Biodiesel season is pretty much over here in northern New Mexico, so I'm switching to dino diesel, a mix at first, then straight diesel probably by December. I replaced the fuel filter when I noticed the power loss, it wasn't really bad, and didn't make much difference afterward. Other symptoms are increased smoke, on acceleration, not much but it didn't smoke at all when I bought the truck this time last year.
I'm beginning to suspect my injectors need cleaning and pop pressure testing. I do computer work for a diesel mechanic , I was thinking of asking them to pull the injectors, or is this something I should do myself and just bring the injectors to the shop? In fact I can remove the injectors from the other Trooper I have and get those checked or put them in the Trooper I drive. Normally I do all my own mechanicing, so I feel a little weird going to someone else's shop.
