I'm kind of beginning to wonder if what you're seeing might be rain water. There are a couple of drain holes under your windshield grille that can get clogged and not allow the water to drain, and it ends up in the cab. Few folks here have had that issue.

If you carefully remove the closeout screen in your glovebox, you'll see the heater core; it's to the left of your blower motor, and to the right of your A/C, if installed.
