Body Damage is Cool
I had lived in Russia and Ukraine before the USA. It means that I had been very well trained how to stay out of jail.

Once, Moscow cops took me and my wife to the police station and they were threating me to keep my wife in the cell until I sign whatever BS they suggested. In no time, I signed everything they wanted (I did not even read what I was signing). Once my wife was safe in home, I used my connections to get me out of the fake "case" they mastered. All papers related to the fake "case" were destroyed. All records were nixed. Officially and legally, I am 100% clean, with no arrests and no story at all.

After the story, the cop in the station was telling me: "You had to talk to me openly, directly, like man-to-man, right here !". O, come on. How can you be talking man-to-man with a guy in police uniform, in police station, who keeps your wife in the cell ? I wanted to catch him somewhere outside the station. He was lucky that I could not find him out of his work.

This is how the things are going abroad; you are afraid of police mostly. When you are dealing with criminals, you have some tools to defend yourself. When you are dealing with police, you are basically defenseless, unless you are a very well connected and rich guy.

So here, in USA, you guys have a very decent police service. I even do not have a single traffic ticket (I am here since 1999 and I am a very active driver). I had one parking violation ticket for $20.00, but I successfully fought it and I did not pay.

Still, I am trying to stay out of ANY situation if I can. Sometimes I cannot. Two days ago I had to defend my cat from a large aggressive dog and the dog owner was very upset by the treatment I gave to his dog. But we both knew that all legal advantages were on my side and he disappeared with his dog and he did not call the police.

<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> Awesome. I don't like cats, but dog owners who don't control their animals are worse. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

As for your experiences back home...I have nothing to compare that too. Glad you got through it and are now living somewhere that cannot happen...hopefully. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />

We have to stand up and make our voices heard that we want to retain our rights or they will surly be taken away in the name of peace and security.

>>>*I almost went another time. I had driven up North to have a chat with my ex-wife, something about her having two full packages of check guarantee cards with my name on them, and a few other items.

She had this big red headed goon of a brother, I guess he appointed himself the "protector" or something. He had a buddy with him, I was kinda watching them I was talking to her and he was standing beside me, we were arguing of course.

So he throws a Sunday punch at me, his mistake was starting it on Saturday after sending a notice via regular mail of his intent....*LOL**..

*Slowest guy I ever saw in my life, but he did have me by 50 pounds.

I responded and he made some funny noises and fell down. I wasn't gentle. Then I sidekicked his buddy who started to reach for me in the stomach and he sat down too. I was standing there calm as a cucumber when the cops arrived, smiled at them as they got out and came up to us. Her brother was still on the ground, his buddy had managed to get up and had backed off a few dozen feet. He was coughing for some reason.

Darned if her Grandpa didn't admit the guy swung at me, he was standing on the porch at the time, I guess he is the one who called them.

They told me that if I drove straight down the street to the bridge and crossed, I would be in Washington instead of Idaho and out of their jurisdiction.

So I did, check guarantee card in hand. There was a pretty little gal named Le' at the house that for some reason chose me, I got lucky there....*EB

*Beats the he** outa me!....*LOL**...

I'm still trying to figure out why this thread is in politics myself.

may be, because there is no forum "Jails", yet ? Politics and jails... well... I have to admit, there is some logic here.

Jail/politics? Naw, not for this one.

I went to jail once back in the day, but I rolled doubles on my next turn and got out.

WEll, I decided to place this here due to the nature of judicial perspective. The Judges are elected officials and susequenttly make all the deciding factors relative to the laws imposed.

And furthermore, any grievances that come from the accused/or the Enforcing Law body are dispositioned in this exact fashion.

Hence the placement of this post. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/patriot.gif" alt="" />
