When I bought my T100 the dealer thought they were american made (and that I would want an american made one). It was on my contract that if there wasn't a J for the VIN, I would not take deliver of the truck.

In Toyota's court though, they are producing more trucks than they were 10 years ago. I wish they could keep the quality, but with an increase in quantity it had to suffer.
