Is the seal/sleeve combo something that will require removing the crank sprocket? If I have to remove the crank sprocket do you recommend loctite for the TC cover bolts when I put everything back together? All of them or just some? [Re: longhaul] #847685 11/29/07 11:23 PM Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,686 Phoenix, Az Staceman Body Damage is Cool just pull off the bottom pulley, or, harmonic balancer as its called. Sleeve goes over its shaft. New seal drivin into the oil pump housing, and your done. Nothing more required than loosening your belts, walking off the harmonic balancer, installing sleeve, remove old seal, replace new seal, install harmonic balancer, tighten belts.
