Getting the Wheeling Fever
aparentley these days when you are out on a trail and you get your ride stuck, others just drive off from you when you are try to ask for some help. so if you were on the trails at marine creek in a black sahara with chrome grill i can honestley say i will never think twice about leaving you stranded. especially on thanksgiving.

I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6

That sucks. We'd never leave you stranded. Where are the trails at marine creek? I've been looking for some new trails around here. We went wheeling at the trinity trails on Thanksgiving. Brown is gonna post some vids today. We're in Arlington. We should get together and go wheeling.

Another reason not to go wheeling by yourself.. I do have to say I have left guys stranded in mud holes that had trails around them.. I didn't know the guys and saw no reason to risk my rig to help out stupidity..

Marine creek used to be excellent. Rode dirt bikes there in the 70's. It's right of loop 820 n. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
Do you guys still wheel at Marshal creek on lake Grapevine?

Is it the trails just north of where they now have the drag boat races? I know just where that lake is...used to work at a subdivivsion up there, and I go to the boat races every year.

It sucks that those people did not help you out.

Hey BJ...just cause someone pushes their rig beyond their limits, you are saying that you would not help them out?????????? I thought that is partly what wheeling is about... building your rig to what you want it to be, and then finding out what it can, and can't do. That's part of the fun.

To not help someone esle out on the trails is shameful....EVERYONE gets stuck at least once....a trail fix is one thing, but a stuck?

Shame on you for saying you would not help, and actually not help, a stranded person on the trails BJ. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" />

And no Hydra, he does not have a good point!

Hey JK, was it a black 07(don't know if they have a sahara edition), with chrome tube bumpers too?

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I was stuck once in mud and snow on a trail out in the middle of nowwhere and my wife and I had been digging it out for about an hour when a truck pulled up behind us with 3 young healty looging guys in it. I asked if they would hook on my bumper and pull me backwards. They didn't say anything and went back to thier truck like they were going to help, so i went to the cab and found my tow rope, when I looked up they were gone. The truck had Texas plates. Is there some reason folks from Texas don't help fellow 4-wheelers?
