There is a HUGE difference in someone FREEZING to death and an idiot sticking himself in mud in 90* weather..
I'm POSITIVE nobody on this board would drive past ANYONE stuck in snowy weather..

I sorta did a couple years ago, as mentioned, sometimes this stuff isn't in black-n-white.

Granted, this was on base, en route to work, guy slid off the road. I wade out w/tow strap. He sez, "If anything gets damaged, you're paying for it." I stopped right where I was and said, "Hell NO SIR". Saluted, and went straight back to my rig. Stupid captain.

This is now-- if I go to pull someone out, I hand them the strap and let THEM attach it to THEIR rig. Can't blame me that way.

Body Damage is Cool
That guy pretty much refused your help though Kewly...that was his mistake.

I do agree that some people are just stupid when it comes to wheeling, but if you happen to come upon someone that is stuck...like I said before, help them out, and then move on, if they get stuck again and you're not still there, then it is no longer you're problem.

I have never refused to help someone out but have never experienced good club trail rides either. Usually just me and a bud out for some fun. I can understand not pulling someone out for the 10th time on the same day. Anytime I helped someone out, I always let the owner attach his vehicle to my strap and let him know in no uncertain terms that if his gets damaged, its on him. If he doesnt agree, then a ride to get someone else is all I will offer.
