I think I need to sell my t100... I am begining to give up with these damned brakes. So far the brakes again arent right.. Granted I only drive the truck occasionally, maybe 2-3x a week..still this doesnt make sense. I guess I just didnt notice it to much b/c I drive easy and let off the pedal before I stop.
When I took apart the rear drums and all. The entire thing was caked in mud so I cleaned them well with brakeclean. I think the adjusters are screwed up, b/c the wheel cylinders are new, the front calipers and pads and front hoses are new (already swapped for better pads, no change), and the rear shoes are new. The lines are all bled 100% too.
I just dont get it. My truck stops, but it used to stop much better. To where if I hit the brakes it would screech to a hault and the abs would kick in if i did it hard enough, going fast enough.
Now, it stops but it feels like its just slowing the truck down rather than bam you hit the pedal it stops. The pedal is rather low, but nowhere near what it was before I replaced the rear components.. I hit the brakes hard and give it gas they dont release like they should, they hang up.
About the only thing that hasnt been done is change the master. I dont think its bad, but when my front calipers stuck the 2nd time I think it ran the master dry-causeI had to add alot of brake fluid when I realized it was leaking out..
I am going to the shop asap.. this is REALLY pissing me off. I just dont get it..
