Ed Mc Body Damage is Cool Your 2.3 has a cable-operated clutch so check free play and adjust as needed. If it's too tight it'll slip. The free play adjustment is made at the firewall, you'll see the nuts which have to be loosened then moved to get more slack in the cable.
