I am working on one for the 10-bolt front Aussie install I just did... don't have it quite ready yet, but I can certainly help you with any questions you have.

A front locker makes a world of difference!

I had an ARB on my trooper (LSD in the rear). Would run with the front locker off, as soon as I lost traction in the rear, I would click the switch and just like that the trooper would climb.

I also installed an Aussie on a friends Trooper, The installation was easy, the hard part was putting the the differential back in. Its always easier to remove things than to put them back in!

On the rocks, it makes a lot of difference. Front wheels do not have enough articulation to keep both tires on the rocks all the time. When you lift a front tire, you basically have a 2WD truck without the front locker. With the locker, you have at least 3WD

The front locker is especially handy when you are climbing uphill some large rocks.

That right there is truth. I couldn't believe the difference in pulling power once I hit the trails with the Lock-Right installed. Matched up with manual hubs, it makes all the difference in the world.

I was amazed also at how much stiffer the steering is going around sharp turns on the trail, it really makes you pay attention and plan your turns and moves. The locker is very unforgiving, and forget about even thinking of driving on pavement, that sucker will not let you turn.

Need a Spot
that's the beauty of the Aussie locker. It's real easy to turn. Not much more effort than an open front.
