Too bad. So what is the most anyone will want to lift the front with the torsion bars? I posted in tech about cranking the torsion bars, but still am wondering this. Last night I went and turned them to give me another 1.75" up front, just want to know how much more is safe. After you lift the front that way do you have to drive it around a bit before you measure to see how much the front has ACTUALLY gone up? I just turned and measured.

You're going to max out at about 3 bone jarring inches of lift with your Trooper. I hated how mine rode after that much cranking so I SAS'd it. I've since realized that I would rather run mostly stock and just armor the hell out of the underside. Toyotas do come with more stock ground clearance, but they are not nearly as unique.
