Well if I don't find someone in town who is good before summer I will be going out to bc anyway, so I will book my truck in to get worked on while I am there.

Wow, this is great info. Sounds like a cheap way to make my Pajero even better! I remember taking my V8 ex-RCMP car to a guru like that, and it was like I'd gotten an engine swap when I got it back!
I am now officially a Pajero owner. . 1992 Exceed w/winter pkg, roof tray, bounceys, the works

Finally put new glow plugs in mine. So that's how it's supposed to start . Who knew that it would just turn over and start like that. Still a bit chunky sounding in the cold for a few minutes but i don't have to put the pedal to the floor and crank it for minutes on end...like 10 minutes. The old plugs were so encrusted in carbon its amazing the truck started at all.

well thats good...I would have tried cleaning the old ones first...you can get an ohm meter and check yours to see if they are actually shot...if they are still good I would keep them for spares. I bought new ones like a year ago, and they have a home in the glove box so i don't lose them hahaha.

I put my new ones in last summer, but the old ones were in good shape so I kept them. Still going to install my pan heater for next winter.

Sweet. I'm looking for an Audi A6 4.2 Quattro myself. The price points on these just under 10 year old luxury sedans are irresistible.

my friend has (I think its) a 1989 Audi 200 Quattro with the 5cyl. turbo engine...it has locking diffs and is so nice to drive...the car is ugly as sin but is so incedibly comfortable to drive.
