Yeah, every time I call the local Mitsu dealer about getting a part they check their stock, tell me they'll have to special order it... I say OK, and they ask what shop I'm with. As soon as I say "private party" they get all frosty and tell me they won't order it until I've come down and paid for it <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> Pooh. Mountain Mitsubishi gets my online business, and Capitol Mitsubishi of San Jose gets... SQUAT <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

OK, to be on topic, I'm curious to know what the dealer said the trouble was if it wasn't the hubs...

Yes, for a dealer that starts out saying it is a vacuum system issue, then bad hubs, then who knows what?
FWIW they sound as bad a Danbury Mits in Conn.
