Just wondering if there is a difference between the NAPA and OEM gaskets. If I recall correctly, the gasket set I got from EB when I rebuilt my engine was just a paper like gasket material. I have a oil leak running down the passenger side timing chain cover, onto the oil pan, and than running down the oil pan and dripping off by the transmission. I pulled the oil pan and used Toyota FIPG, replacing the cork gasket, hoping that was the problem, but after doing that, discovered the leak running down the side of the timing chain cover. Re-torked the bolts I could reach on the cover, but still leaking. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> Anyways, looks like I'm gonna need a new gasket set, and stealership isn't open tomorrow.
