Need a Spot
I am looking for some "new to me" wheels and tires and found a set that was listed on a site for 600 bucks. Can anyone tell me if they look like a good deal? I only have a 2 inch budget boost and they are slightly taller than the tires that I have on my jeep now.

Here is the link. Thanks. Link to tires page

Same Tire and wheel I got on my 05 unlimited. Some like the tires ans some hate them they did OK on my 05lj until I went with bigger tires.
What wheels do you have now. 2"BB will take 32x11.50x15 if you like your wheels

Doncha have a local craigslist? In the auto parts forum on the Austin craigslist New Jeep takeoff tires and wheels are the most common listing.. Those on your link would only bring 250 or 300 bucks around here..
The problem with Jeep wheels is the center hole is so small they will fit few other vehicles. Aftermarket Jeep wheels have a larger center hole and will interchange with all 4-3/4 lug patterns.
Without six lug Chevy and Jeep takeoffs we would have a skinny auto parts.... seems thataway to me anyhow.

Thanks. I have 29 inch tires. I got the jeep from a buddy and it had the budget boost on it already. I dont want to spend an arm and a leg for tires, so I was searching for used tires for sale in my area and came up with that link. I was just not too sure about the price because it comes with the wheels. I guess I answered my own question if I even had to post to ask if they were a good deal.

Thanks for the info.

with the wheels, heck yea its worth it. The only problem is if one or more should blow out is that Goodyear no longer makes that tire. I currently have 3 now with about the same amount of tread.a customer sold them to me because he couldnt find a replacement so he bought 4 new tires. We have another customer about to do the same thing and I will get those as well.

As far as how well they do,I have a set myself (225/75-15) on my stock xj. they do real well in all weather. In fact i drave in over 2 foot of snow and ice without loosing traction once,or getting stuck.

out of all the jeeps in this town the d**n gremlin had to invade mine

I've done so much, with so little for so long i can practicly do anything with nothing

Cuervo, my experience with these GS-A tires that came as original tires for the last two Wranglers I purchased, is just the opposite. In MHO these tires are prone to hydroplanning at least when used under a Wrangler, and wear rather quickly. I can't in good conscience recommend these tires to anybody; and, they certainly don't warant any considerable value. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

You can get a brand new set of Dunlop Mud Rover mud terrains in 30x9.5x15 delivered to your door for under $500. Tire Rack, I've used them before.

Goodyear and Discount tire stores carry them as well and will most likely price match Tire Racks $100 price.
