Need a Spot
Hello, I recently moved from hELl Paso,Tx. to Sun Prairie, Wi.(bussines related) came up here by myself to set up everything before bringing the family. I drove my 99 auto Sporty with 31"s, 2" body lift & 2" suspension lift on a 1600 mile trip. It has 91K. Didn't use a drop of oil, no problems what so ever. Did 70mph most of the way (only wish It had cruise control)We bought it two years ago for my wife with 69k on it. She drove it for a year and we were going to trade it in for a 01 Cherokee classic but I decided to keep it and gave her the Cherokee. Let me tell you I have never regreted it. It has never given me any problems. The only thing that the Cherokee out performs the Sporty is in power, other than that in my opinion the Sporty is a much better, more comfortable vehicle. I'm pretty sure most of you will agree.

Welcome to the board....

Did a similar thing about 9 months ago, driving 2700 km (~1600 miles) except I was towing a 12'x6'x 7", 2 ton furniture trailer in 100F through mountain ranges into a stiff 30 knot headwind..... Flat to the boards 2nd gear 30 mph tops at one point (2hrs worth) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/sleeping.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/sleeping.gif" alt="" />

Just recently totaled my Sporty......and bought a 2001 Cherokee to replace it with.
I agree, I liked the Sporty better.(Although it is nice to be able to pass on the Freeway!) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
