If its just rust , it can be fixed , if its rot , find another frame.The truck I got the body off of had major frame rot , so bad the frame snapped.The good frame I used had a little surface rust , and 1 spot on the back was rusted through , but I cut that piece out and welded in another.I also coated the frame with the rust stuff that shipyards used , then coated over that with a rubberized coating while I had just the frame in front of me.The frame should now outlast the rest of the truck <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
