replace everything inside or it will fail very soon after the rebuild, reason is what you can't see with your eyes is all the metal from the gear(s) that have failed have run thru the others and have damaged them so its better to just replace everything inside i think this is the main problem when these trannys get rebuild is they really need to be fully rebuilt not just replace the worn/broken parts.
