I have a '90 Wrangler Sahara and am thinking about doing a putting a GM 350 small block in and was wondering if anyone has done this or something similar and what is needed and what steps they took or if there are any suggestions for a better motor, thanks

Getting the Wheeling Fever

Check with advance adapters, They have a kit that allows a stock chevy powerplant and trans and T-Case from a 4wd to fit in a Jeep. Then you have to have custom drive shafts made to bolt to your axles on your Jeep. The engine mount adapter is nothing more then a bracket that mounts on existing mounts in your Jeep but has the mounting patern for the smallblock. I think the trans and case are easily mounted with minor modifications to the skid plate. I have not done a v8 mod in a Jeep but I did one in a Fiero, With all projects they are major and usually take Triple the time triple the money and then triple the time to debug the finshed product. Alot of guys give up and ruin a good running veihicle. Good luck.
