Any body else experiencing this problem? I found mine reading about 5 mph fast @ 65mph I found it with my GPS, at first I suspected that Toyota was setting them up that way to get off warranty quicker , but then I figured I was just buying into the conspirasy nonsence , then a co worker told me Toyota got bagged doing just this. Has anybody read anything about this?

Stock tires or not is the first question. #2 Have you googled yet? Linky March 2007 The question would be an interesting one for Dateline or the like. There is some scuttlebutt circulating around about the Nissan Titan having this issue, but I'm not signing up for the website just to read.

Another thing to check is distance accuracy. The speed indicated by the speedo needle can be off, even if the distance is being recorded correctly. The odometer in my 2001 Taco is spot-on to my Garmin GPS as to distance, and the speedo reads spot-on for speed at 75mph. However, the speedo is 3mph too high at 60 (62 indicated by speedo is actually 59 according to GPS).
