Very special : indeed your scenario 1 is all normal, but with 2 and 3, I will wait to see what you are going to find there....may be the guy before has emptied the garbage off the diff. ...and lived happy with 2WD....
just for the record (no consequence on your findings at this point),it is still equipped with the vacuum hubs?
