Thanks for the muffler info, I will seek that out after the inspection.

Really like the skyline, but I don't believe for a second that it's for the wife

It really is...she LOVES it.She called me from the office the first day i 'let' her drive it (as she was driving the 'bater' to get used to RHD). She was crying because she was so happy. She said she had owned 4 new cars in her life and this one was the BEST!
She also said," This car could drive sooo fast around corners and it would just hug the road"
i reminded her that driving like that was only for me

Unless its a family outing i will not be seeing the Skyline too much (even though i bartered 1 day a week).

Really nice pics - both vehicles -have me thinking of a second RHD already.

Question on the Pajero - you have a horizontal plate (below the tow attachment) at the centre base of the rear bumper. Is this stock & what is it for? That and the bungee cord make me think of a fuel container holder.

That is the factory rear step. every pajero I have seen from Japan has this on there, im sure some were removed for trailer-hitches though. mine is coming off soon enough.

It only comes on 4 door models, though.

And the Bungee cord is a cable lock for the spare. i was too lazy to get it through the carrier and tire

My buddy is a fab/welding magician that has done lots of work for me. The project tomorrow is to build a receiver for my dirtbike carrier without losing the 'step'.
Eventually, another fabricating buddy will build me bumpers front and rear for aesthetic reasons...
As well, i will post pics of receiver progress pics.

Does you welding buddy want to make 2 reciever's? I assume that you are just going to weld a flat plate to a piece of reciever 2" tubing?
