I could see cam bolts and tie rod sleeves, especially the way they salt the roads out your way. Nothing that shouldn't be readily available and not very high dollar parts as they go.

I'd do one of two things:
a) buy some Kroil and douche all the steering bolts (and even the torsion bar bolts) the night before you drop it off;
b) just let him break what he breaks and replace it then.
