so I called my "old dealer" (one I use to work a " TRD DEALER " ) and went to order the new Supercharger ..
apparently , they got an email ......TODAY .... , saying that Toyota Canada was NO longer supplying TRD pieces in Canada ...
yeah great .. now what ? . So, clock may have ticked too long.... but I'm curious... what would happen if they were to "accidentally" order something? Aeound here, one can often find/make a "buddy" working at the dealer whom might, say, for a couple of beers and a game of darts/pool/poker, accidentally "forget" to read their email every now and again and, oops, had already ordered the part for a good long-time customer... boy surely we wouldn't want to lose the patronage and word-of-mouth compliments of a well-known customer, eh?? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> thanks .... but no stock in Canada .. so it will get cancelled .. already tried .

started to tear down the original Truck today .. finally ....... got it up to the bay doors .. My son , and his buddys started to clean out the rear .. lots of crap stored in there .. ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0941.jpg) and cleaned out .. ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0943.jpg) I was very anxious to see the condition of the rear seat , so that was second on the list .. I was at the front , and was looking at the front passenger seat , and noticed a leaver .. so I pulled it , and to my surprise .. COOL the seat flips forward , to allow the rear passengers room to get in ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0950.jpg) you can also see the backs of the front seats are covered .. and also , with the seat folded flat , you can see it makes the floor flat .. this is the "Q" for the seat deleate panel in the 84-89's , how cool is that !!!! ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0955.jpg) I had Brayden jump in , and I had him pull up the seat .. ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0948.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0949.jpg) It's absolutly perfect .. no rips , tears .. nothing .. only the seat belt impressions .. other then the rust on the steel , it's an absolutly awesome shape .. and from the back (seat folded up ) ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0954.jpg) how cool is that ? so continuing on ... the boys got the windows out ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0956.jpg) and that was about it for them .. I "cut" out the roll bar , as the one side was rusted completly threw ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0957.jpg) and then had to grind the bolts off the trim panel , to start the interior strip . ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0958.jpg) once I got those off , I could pull out the sides , and the headliner .. [img] http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0961.jpg[/img] [img] http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0962.jpg[/img] and thats it for today ... [img] http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/HPIM0964.jpg[/img] .

I usually ship my parts to a U.S. UPS store near the border and bring it across myself. I have only ever paid PST & GST on parts, regardless of where they were made, although technically, you should pay duty on parts made outside North America.
If you bring it across yourself, there are no customs or brokerage fees. With used parts, like the diffs I got, the border guys usually ask a few questions and wave me through, no charge. If you're stuck, PM me. Maybe I can help since I live a mile form the border.

How are you going to fix that floor!!? Are you going to fab all new sheet metal or cut some sections out of a donor vehicle? -- Matt
