Check that the air flow sensor is operating properly and freely. Something may have been allowed to get stuck in it when you changed filters.

OK, checked that, it seems clean and operates freely, as does the throttle valve as well. Also checked the engine codes and no error code coming up either. I know my fuel filter isn't that old either. Had my clutch done about 10 months ago, don't think that would have anything to do with it would it??

here's what one of my plugs looks like for what its worth.
Any suggestions anyone?
