I'm having mine converted as we speak. The crossmember isn't that much different from the 5 speed. We ended up using a universal B and M cable shifter from Summit racing. It is a 3 speed shifter; I just need to add a switch for the OD IIRC. The rear driveshaft in my pickup had to be shortened and the front lengthened by a couple inches. The input splines are different from auto to manual on the TC.
